Suçlu mu? Mağdur mu? Tecrit edilmeli mi?
Sokak çocukları bizce mağdur. Farkında mısınız, son yıllarda en çok gündeme gelen toplumsal sorunlardan bir tanesi “sokak çocukları” diye kolay bir tabirle tanımlanan sorundur? Bu çocuklar kendi istekleriyle bu hale gelmediler.
Sokaklara hayatın acımasız tekmesini yiyerek daha hayatın ne olduğunu bilmeden atılıyorlar. Ya çalıştırılmak için ya dilendirilmek için ya da ailesi içerisinde şiddete maruz kaldıkları için sokaklarda yaşamaya mecbur bırakılmış zavallı çocuk yüzleridir onlar. Sokaklarda da onları her türlü acımasızlık çepeçevre sarmalıyor. Fiziksel şiddet, dayak aşağılama, cinsel taciz, uçucu madde bağımlılığı (tiner, bali, hap)… Birkaç yazı halinde bu sorunu bugünü ve çözüm yollarıyla tartışmak istiyorum.
Bunları Biliyor muydunuz?
Sokakta çalıştırılan çocukların % 12.26’sını 13-15 yaş arası çocuklar oluşturuyor.
Her 100 sokak çocuğundan 40’ı evde fiziksel ve cinsel şiddet gördüğü için sokaklarda yaşamayı tercih ediyor.
3-7 yaş sokak çocukları çok düşük ekonomik gelirli evlerden çıkıyor.
Sokak çocukları üzerine yapılan bir araştırmaya göre; aile içi şiddet gören çocukların %30’unda üvey anne veya üvey baba var.
Sokak çocuklarının;
%85’i sigara, %65’i bali, tiner, hap, esrar gibi uyarıcı madde kullanıyor
%41’i sokak çetelerine katılıyor,
%82’si kesici delici ve yaralayıcı alet taşıyor,
%43’ü fiziksel %54’ü cinsel ve duygusal şiddet görüyor.
Her gece, hangi sokaktan hangi çocuğun kaçırılarak, hangi ormana götürüldüğünü ve burada hangi organının alınarak organ mafyası tarafından nereye gömüldüğünü veya hangi denize atıldığını; her gece hangi sokaktan hangi sokak çocuğunun kaçırılarak cinsel istismar aracı olarak kullanıldığını; her gece hangi sokaktan kaçırılarak kapkaç mafyasına üye yapıldığını biliyor muyuz?
Eğer bilmiyor ve sokak köpeklerine verdiğiniz değeri bu çocuklara vermiyorsanız bence bir an önce bu konuda duyarlılaşmalısınız. Çünkü gün geçtikçe sayılarının artması, özellikle büyük kentlerde çok daha büyük toplumsal sorunlara yol açacaktır.
Konuya durumun hassasiyetinden bahsederek ve bazı oranlar vererek bir giriş yapmak istedim.
Unutmayınız ki; onlar çocuk.
Onların saldırganlıkları kişiliklerinden değil, toplumun onlara nefret dolu bakışından oluşuyor.
Onlara sevgiyle, şefkatle yaklaşmak ve duyarlılıkla davranmak atılacak en doğru ilk adım olacaktır.
Daha sonra ise sorunu asla örtmeden, tüm gerçekliğiyle toplumun tüm kesimlerinin tartışması ve çözüm yollarının aranması bir insanlık vazifesidir.
Hele de bu soğuk kış günlerinde bizim çocuklarımız sıcacık evlerde huzur içerisinde yaşarken onlar sokakların tüm acımasızlığıyla yaşıyorlar.

Guilty? Victims? Should they be excluded?
According to us, street children are victims. Do you recognize that one of the issues that mostly acquire currency is the problem defined with a simple definition as “street children”? These children have not found themselves in this situation by their own will. They stick their chins out with the merciless kick of life, even before they know what life is. They are the poorly faces of children who are forced to live on the streets either to be made to work or beg or because they are exposed to domestic violence. All kinds of cruelty surround them in the streets. Physical violence, beating, humiliation, sexual abuse, addiction to volatile substances (thinner, glue, pills)… I would like to discuss the current situation of this problem and its solutions.
Did You Know These?
12.26% of children who are forced to work on the streets are between 13-15 years old.
40 over a 100 street children prefer to live on the streets because they are exposed to physical and sexual violence.
Street children between the ages 3-7 are from homes where they have very low financial income.
According to a research on street children; 30 % of children who are subject to physical violence have step-mothers or step-fathers.
Among Street Children;
85% smoke and 65% use stimulants such as glue, thinner and pot,
41% join street gangs,
82% carry sharp and injurious means,
43% face physical violence and 54% face sexual and emotional abuse.
Do we know which child is kidnapped from which street, which forest he/she is taken to and here, which organ of his/hers is removed by the organ mafia and where he/she is buried under or which sea he/she is dumped into every night; which street child is kidnapped and used for sexual abuse every night; which street they are kidnapped from to be forced to become a member of the mugging mafia?
If you do not know and do not value these children as much as you value street dogs, I think you should get sensitive about this issue as soon as possible because as their numbers increase every day, it will cause greater social problems in especially big cities.
I wanted to introduce the topic by mentioning the delicacy of the situation and giving some ratios.
Do not forget that they are children.
Their aggressiveness is not due to their personality but to the hateful perception of the society.
Approaching them with love and compassion and acting sensibly would be the first right step to take.
After that, it is a duty of humanity to discuss the topic by putting all the reality on the table openly and searching for solutions by all levels of the society.
They experience all the cruelty of the streets especially in these cold winter days while our own children live in warm houses and in peace.
Please, let’s not remain blind to this.
